Drive deeper into the Western Desert tracks to reach the protected UNESCO World Heritage site of Wadi El Hitan. Walk along the beautifully curated open-air walking trail. Marvel at perfectly preserved, 40-million-year-old basilosaurus and zeuglodon whale skeletons that clearly show the evolutionary transition of whales from land mammals to ocean dwellers. Visit the modern indoor Fossil and Climate Change Museum to see ancient seashells, shark teeth, and petrified mangrove roots.
04:00 PM – Sunset Drive and Return Journey
